Don’t give in, be encouraged

There’s going to be things, we can not control. The world is changing, and in order to push ahead, we must renew our mind. The more time someone spends with the Father instead of habits, the better a person is going to feel. I can not even recall how many times I have learned this first hand, but I started getting distracted again, so I needed to write it out here. Emotions should always be in check, because if someone lets their emotions get out of control, it can lead them into sin. The Father is not going to give us more, than we can handle. He is literally one prayer away. Pray, and then praise Him for answering the prayer, before you see results. Our God is a faith God. You have the mind of Christ. No weapon formed against you will prosper. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. God hasn’t given you the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Hold on, to your faith, and don’t let the things around you, distract you from the Father. Starting the day with the Father, is the best way, to have a great day. Pray for somebody, outside of your circle. Do something, that you have been procrastinating, to better your life. Always look for ways to be more like Jesus. I pray for everyone to have a blessed day. I also encourage, everyone to add 15 minutes to sometime in your day, to spend time with the Father. Give your day to God, and don’t focus on the negative things, but what the Father is doing in You. I promise if you start somewhere, and seek Him, He will answer. Be encouraged, be blessed


My name is James Carter, and you are visiting breaking bad habits. I believe everyone has habits, good and bad. When I was 34 years old, I woke up and looked in the mirror. I was shocked, I had been drinking every night for so long, that I was fat. I weighed 355 pounds, and ran out of breathe and almost passed out to try and tie my shoes. This was the day I started to wake up. I had a long journey ahead of me, but with prayer, meditation, fasting and exercise I was on my way. It’s been 6 years since then I’ve quit most of my bad habits, and I’m down to below 200 pounds. I have to be honest, that day in 2014 I never dreamed I would have gotten this far. If someone like me can quit, so can you.
