Staying Positive In Hard Times

Keeping someone’s head up is the best advice I can give. Evil forces are at work to bring us down. When we give in to negative thoughts then we are cursing ourselves for more negative things to happen. Always be careful about what goes in your minds eye. I cannot stress this anymore than that. When someone makes an action, it’s like they are painting a canvas for everyone to see. People either see negative, or positive things depending on if you are doing negative or positive actions. This is why it is important to be positive at all times, it keeps things balanced, and keeps from influencing someone else, into doing something bad.

Push to be a better person than you’ve been that starts by putting others before yourself. If the main ingredient in someone’s life is love then they are living a positive life because God is love which makes them act like God, In character. I think that’s what we are meant to do is live our lives as close to a guideline as possible. Loving others when they are not nice, can be difficult, but necessary, because the only light they see may be yours. It’s not always easy to be nice, or show love, but without love it is impossible to please God. I think it shows the most love to show it to the person that does not deserve it.

I love you all, and if anyone needs prayer, or someone to talk to, then I will be checking in all month. Do not hesitate to ask.

My name is James Carter, and you are visiting breaking bad habits. I believe everyone has habits, good and bad. When I was 34 years old, I woke up and looked in the mirror. I was shocked, I had been drinking every night for so long, that I was fat. I weighed 355 pounds, and ran out of breathe and almost passed out to try and tie my shoes. This was the day I started to wake up. I had a long journey ahead of me, but with prayer, meditation, fasting and exercise I was on my way. It’s been 6 years since then I’ve quit most of my bad habits, and I’m down to below 200 pounds. I have to be honest, that day in 2014 I never dreamed I would have gotten this far. If someone like me can quit, so can you.
