Program yourself to Succeed.

I will drive on, I mess up I get up I dust myself off, and drive on. Sometimes people have to decide in their mind, they are determined to be positive. There is no giving up, or turning around. It’s important to realize that sometimes being positive is not going to be the comfortable selection. They say the first cut is the deepest, and it’s true. It is hard not to be cynical of others, but it’s important, to treat others positively. It’s easy to lash out at someone, but to stop, and actually respond in a positive manner that takes serious will power. To many times people mess up, and give up. Messing up is not failure, messing up is finding the wrong solution and trying again. Messing up and quitting is failure. In order to succeed someone has to give theirself room for failure. It requires a belief that they will win. One should Picture theirself winning.

Someone has to have the will to win, and to get rid of the negative mindset, and know that the victory is coming. One who Affirms the victory before they see it, is someone that wins every time. Stay away from naysayers, because they will steal the positive energy, and suck the positive air out of the room. Let them be negative over their own situation, do not indulge them, or encourage them, by giving them any ground. I like to say positive rhymes in my head to drown their negative noise out. Someone should use their energy, and emotion and claim their success, when they really want something bad enough, they will find a way, to get it, isn’t it time you found your desires? Fight for your right, to be the person you picture when you see your best version of you. Imagine greater things for yourself, and then it’s just a journey, of getting there.

My name is James Carter, and you are visiting breaking bad habits. I believe everyone has habits, good and bad. When I was 34 years old, I woke up and looked in the mirror. I was shocked, I had been drinking every night for so long, that I was fat. I weighed 355 pounds, and ran out of breathe and almost passed out to try and tie my shoes. This was the day I started to wake up. I had a long journey ahead of me, but with prayer, meditation, fasting and exercise I was on my way. It’s been 6 years since then I’ve quit most of my bad habits, and I’m down to below 200 pounds. I have to be honest, that day in 2014 I never dreamed I would have gotten this far. If someone like me can quit, so can you.

  1. Excellent post. What helps me to improve my thinking I get up early and enjoy the quiet time and Journal. I try to set a good tone for the day. I do the same at night. I spend time reviewing the day and spend time quieting my mind.
