You are what you eat

Break bad habits make good healthy habits
Make healthy habits

Part of feeling better about oneself, begins with control. Self control goes a very long way when it comes to any kind of self progression. It’s important to want to be healthy, if not for anyone else, do it for yourself. The body is a temple, so therefore we should not destroy the temple by loading it up with garbage. So my choice for candy bar is none. I will try sticking to fruit and super foods.

Replacing junk food can be very hard, because the junk food eaten is scientically modified, in order to make the consumer feel instantly gratified. In other words it gives them a short-lived high or euphoric feeling. These foods are designed to destroy the body. Super foods are packed with nutrients and may have a bad or bitter taste, they do numerous beneficial things for the body. It may take a little while to feel the affects but super foods will charge the body and rejuvenate it.

This is one of the most important lessons for someone to learn when it comes to living healthy. This is a very deep subject and it facinates me, so I will keep it short, in order not to bored anyone.

I will do a follow up if anyone is interested. Feel free to send emails at

My name is James Carter, and you are visiting breaking bad habits. I believe everyone has habits, good and bad. When I was 34 years old, I woke up and looked in the mirror. I was shocked, I had been drinking every night for so long, that I was fat. I weighed 355 pounds, and ran out of breathe and almost passed out to try and tie my shoes. This was the day I started to wake up. I had a long journey ahead of me, but with prayer, meditation, fasting and exercise I was on my way. It’s been 6 years since then I’ve quit most of my bad habits, and I’m down to below 200 pounds. I have to be honest, that day in 2014 I never dreamed I would have gotten this far. If someone like me can quit, so can you.
