Life is simple yet has become complicated because of choices. Every day people chose to ignore what right in front of their face. People avoid topics that make them feel uneasy because they want to be secure. I want to talk about this because avoidance is addiction. We avoid the person we know is using because we don’t want to cause chaos we want to be chill. This isn’t everyone of course. It’s a group of people addicted to avoiding conflict. Fear is one cause of this, but it’s important to learn ways to break the addiction in order to get your break through. People will read avoidance as weakness and use it to take advantage of others. This makes it important to stand up and get involved. The world is changing and I am trying my hardest to stay positive but also it’s very important for me to make something clear. There is hope for those that pursue the positive things in life. Do not avoid conflict take control of the situation. Keeping your focus on the positive side of things even when things go bad will make your life awesome. One more thing to tell you. Be Awesome!

My name is James Carter, and you are visiting breaking bad habits. I believe everyone has habits, good and bad. When I was 34 years old, I woke up and looked in the mirror. I was shocked, I had been drinking every night for so long, that I was fat. I weighed 355 pounds, and ran out of breathe and almost passed out to try and tie my shoes. This was the day I started to wake up. I had a long journey ahead of me, but with prayer, meditation, fasting and exercise I was on my way. It’s been 6 years since then I’ve quit most of my bad habits, and I’m down to below 200 pounds. I have to be honest, that day in 2014 I never dreamed I would have gotten this far. If someone like me can quit, so can you. View All Posts
