Move on Move up

Sometimes the only thing holding someone back is their self. In order to get over someone or something, one has to stop focusing on that thing and focus on what they actually want. Focusing on what someone wants helps to reduce negative thoughts about what is going on and helps bring the reality to life that is wanted.

When something in life gets someone upset the best thing for them to do is let it go. Letting things go diffuses the situation so that the negative energy can be blocked. Letting situations determine how the day goes is a trap. Remember things can always get bad, but things can always get worse , and staying positive prevents them from doing so. Staying positive to change things to the better can be difficult, but worth the effort.

I believe a toxic relationship is the one circumstance where some may have a hard time to stay positive. One piece of advice is to always know your worth. If you know you are awesome 😉 then the bully’s of this world can not tell you you are not. The other thing is to let it go in one ear, and out the other. There’s is also deflection, pretend they are talking to themselves, or the television. If the situation, is so toxic that one cannot ignore the insults, and negativity my best advice is to get away from the other person.

It’s hard to focus on positive things when negative things are happening, but it’s part of training your brain. It’s important to break the old habit of thinking what could go wrong, instead of imagining everything going right. The breakthrough is right around the corner as long as someone keeps focusing on positive things then positive things are coming.

My name is James Carter, and you are visiting breaking bad habits. I believe everyone has habits, good and bad. When I was 34 years old, I woke up and looked in the mirror. I was shocked, I had been drinking every night for so long, that I was fat. I weighed 355 pounds, and ran out of breathe and almost passed out to try and tie my shoes. This was the day I started to wake up. I had a long journey ahead of me, but with prayer, meditation, fasting and exercise I was on my way. It’s been 6 years since then I’ve quit most of my bad habits, and I’m down to below 200 pounds. I have to be honest, that day in 2014 I never dreamed I would have gotten this far. If someone like me can quit, so can you.

  7. Awesome blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?

I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many options out there
that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas? Cheers!

    1. I had to pay a fee in order to start my WordPress. I wasn’t aware there was a free version, but I’m happy with what I have. I am always looking for exciting opportunities for writing, because I love to write.
