Staying positive in a negative world.

In order to keep a positive mindset it is important to remember to always stay guarded. Guard what you listen to, think about, and what you put your eyes to. In certain instances it may not be possible to get away from certain situations in those cases it’s important to keep your wits about you. Meditation helps me when these types of situations arise. Learning to block others out is also an effective tool. There are some out there that do not want to see anyone living in freedom or having a positive life. Someone that’s Listening to negative music is filling their own life with poison, and if they are singing to the music, they are speaking negative things, into their life.

Positive thinking brings positive results. If you can manage to rewire the brain to be positive then things are going to get a whole lot more positive in your life. It may not happen instantaneously, but is someone sticks with it then positive things will be on the way. Remember to focus on what you want not the problem blocking what you want. Positive thinking breeds a positive way of life. You get what you put out. Learn to be a part of the solution instead of a part of the problem. When something goes wrong instead of complaining about what is going wrong find a way to make things right.

My name is James Carter, and you are visiting breaking bad habits. I believe everyone has habits, good and bad. When I was 34 years old, I woke up and looked in the mirror. I was shocked, I had been drinking every night for so long, that I was fat. I weighed 355 pounds, and ran out of breathe and almost passed out to try and tie my shoes. This was the day I started to wake up. I had a long journey ahead of me, but with prayer, meditation, fasting and exercise I was on my way. It’s been 6 years since then I’ve quit most of my bad habits, and I’m down to below 200 pounds. I have to be honest, that day in 2014 I never dreamed I would have gotten this far. If someone like me can quit, so can you.
